The Golden Age Of Rock N Roll reminds us of the greatest years in our history for music, social change and exploration. The turbulent years of the 60’s and 70’s brought us also our greatest heights of achievement. NASA and our space program with the Moon landings and Voyager I and Voyager II missions were our crowning glories. This is the 40th Anniversary of those Voyager missions. 40 years after launch, the spacecraft are still reaching out 12 billion miles away from our humble planet and continues today. They are on a mission to bring the story of the human race to those other inhabitants of the cosmos. This limited edition reproduction display includes the very same diagrams found on the original records etched onto a 12″ golden LP record hand polished to a mirror finish.
The record memorabilia/collectible display is 20 inches wide and 16 inches tall.
The black plaque is made of a scratch resistant material ready to hang.
The Clad clad HUGE 12 inch Long Playing Record is raised off the plaque to achieve a dynamic effect with a photo of the actual mounting of the famous “Sounds of the Earth” golden record onto Voyager One. The wording on the laser engraved plate commemorates the 40th anniversary since their initial launch in 1977 and the farthest achievement of humankind. The Clad company seal, top left corner, and a brief history of the craft’s journey thus far adhered to the back.
